“‘God works for those who wait for Him’ (Isaiah 64:4). The proper connotation of saying God works for me is that I am bankrupt and need a bailout. I am weak and need someone strong. I am endangered and need a protector. I am foolish and need someone wise. I am lost and need a Rescuer. ‘God works for me’ means I can’t do the work.” —John Piper

“Man, please thy Maker and be merry; / This whole world rate we at a penny!” —William Dunbar

“Seeking the Kingdom of God is not a matter of doing first things first. Seeking the Kingdom is not just the first thing on the Christian’s daily to-do list. Seeking the Kingdom is a first things always proposition, so that whatever is on our to-do list on any given day, seeking the Kingdom is the first things pursuit which defines and directs everything else we do.” —T.M. Moore

Some facts reported by Live Action to refute the Planned Parenthood lies:

  • “Abortion is only 3 percent of the services Planned Parenthood provides”—but in reality, it accounts for over one-third of Planned Parenthood’s annual revenue.
  • “Women will be hurt if their taxpayer funding is cut off”—but more than 13,000 health clinics would be eligible for the $500,000,000 of your taxpayer dollars Planned Parenthood currently receives.  Not a single dime would be taken away from women’s healthcare!  In fact, more health clinics could offer more services with that money.

At age 38, after playing 20 years for the Detroit Tigers, Ty Cobb had an amazing performance in the 1925 season.

“Everything you do is either going to raise your average or lower it. The next hire. The quality of the chickpeas you serve. The service experience on register 4. Each interaction is a choice. A choice to raise your average or lower it. Progress is almost always a series of choices, an inexorable move toward mediocrity, or its opposite.” —Seth Godin

“If Margaret Sanger had her way, MLK and Rosa Parks would never have been born,” said [Bishop E.W.] Jackson. “It’s an outrage the national museum would honor such a person and add insult to injury by putting her in the Struggle for Justice exhibit.” Margaret Sanger’s bust should be removed from the Smithsonian.

“Sometimes we ship a whole baby to the lab and the techs sorta freak out…ha! ha! ha!” says the woman who is profiting from these murders. So that’s what you find funny?! In some ways I don’t want anyone to see these videos, but it is vital that you are aware of what is going on.

Live Action shares 4 quotes from former abortionists who have now become pro-life. One doctor said, “And as I brought out the rib cage, I looked and I saw a tiny, beating heart. And when I found the head of the baby, I looked squarely in the face of another human being—a human being that I’d just killed. I turned to the scrub nurse and said, ‘I’m sorry.’ But I just knew that I couldn’t be a part of abortion anymore.” Thank God he changed his mind.

Now let’s keep sharing this gruesome information to change other hearts and minds too! We have got to keep changing minds, before the abortionists take all our brains…

From Planned Parenthood’s own annual report, prenatal services—which have decreased—amount to 18,684 services. Out of the total 10,590,433 services then, pre-natal care accounts for less than 1 percent. For pregnant women who come to Planned Parenthood, 94 percent of them have an abortion. (h/t Live Action)

Appalling: Baby Body Parts For Sale

Live Action logoThis is gut-wrenching. This is debased. And this is totally indefensible. Planned Parenthood is not only contributing to the murdering of nearly 1 million babies every year, but now they are profiting further from their gruesome work by selling body parts from those aborted babies!

Kudos to Live Action for their vigilant work in pulling back the curtain to expose the shameful practices going on at Planned Parenthood. Take a look at the totally insensitive way this “doctor” (yes, that word is in quotes on purpose) discussing selling chopped up babies. After you watch this, see below on what you can do to put a stop to this brutality.

“Sometimes the enormity of war overwhelms the truth that all great struggles are just the sum of individual stories. Each is more than just the story of one soldier’s service and sacrifice. Their service ripples across their families, friends and their communities. Memorial Day reminds us it is the noble sacrifice of many that makes us who we are.” —James Carafano

“How can we expect to foster a pro-life culture if we hide our beliefs in the shadows? Abortion clinics have flourished by boldly and unapologetically declaring their stance. As a result clinics like Planned Parenthood have become a mainstream part of our culture; being invited into our government’s budget, school systems and communities. Pro-life options have been bullied into a corner where their life affirming options are patronized under a label of intolerance.” I love this: a pro-life pregnancy center is going to open in Georgia just 10 feet away from an abortion clinic.

William Wilberforce said something about slavery that could just as easily apply to abortion today: “It naturally suggested itself to me, how strange it was that providence, however mysterious in its ways, should so have constituted the world as to make one part of it depend on its existence for the depopulation and devastation of another.” Check out this Live Action post: Lessons From Wilberforce.

“But do you want to get better? It seems like a stupid question. Of course we want our organization, our work and our health to improve. But often, we don’t. Better means change and change means risk and risk means fear.” —Seth Godin

“Every time you prefer the pleasures of this world to the joys of heaven, you spit in the face of Christ; every time when to gain in your business, you do an unrighteous thing, you are like Judas selling Him for thirty pieces of silver; every time you make a false profession of religion, you give Him a traitor’s kiss; every word you have spoken against Him, every hard thought you have had of Him, has helped to complete your complicity with the great crowd which gathered around the Cross of Calvary, to mock and jeer the Lord of life and glory.” —Charles Spurgeon
