Are You Getting Sick Yet?

Cecile Richards president of Planned ParenthoodHave you seen enough? How much more do you need to see before you will do something? When is it enough that you will speak out?

The Center For Medical Progress is doing amazing work in uncovering the absolutely disgusting—and illegal!—practices of Planned Parenthood.

In this latest video, notice the calloused way this Planned Parenthood official calls babies “products of conception.” Are you kidding me?! It’s a human being, not a “product of conception”!

She matter-of-factly talks about her level of “specimen collection” and how “my department contributes so much to the bottom line.”

God, have mercy!

A recent attempt to defund Planned Parenthood failed in the United States Senate on a procedural vote. However, if more people will decrying these abominable practices to their Senator, there is NO WAY they could hide behind this again!

Please contact your Representative and Senators to tell them to defund Planned Parenthood, and put an end to these murderous practices.

Planned Parenthood Knows It’s Illegal

Cecile Richards president of Planned ParenthoodThe Center for Medical Progress has another damning video of Planned Parenthood’s illegal and disgusting activities. Here they document a Planned Parenthood vice president talking about how to circumvent the law they know they are breaking, so they can profit further off the misery they are causing.

The Senate and House are both considering bills to defund Planned Parenthood, who presently receives over $500 million each year of our tax dollars to subsidize their criminal “healthcare” practices. Contact your Representative and your Senators, and ask them to vote to defund these monstrous activities.

More Planned Parenthood Ugliness

Cecile Richards president of Planned ParenthoodAs the deplorable practices of Planned Parenthood keeping coming to light, the Planned Parenthood leadership keeps piling on the lies. The bottom line: they are in business to make money, and scared, vulnerable women are their main source of income.

An undercover video was released last week showing a Planned Parenthood doctor discussing the sale of body parts from aborted babies. Planned Parenthood, predictably, said it was untrue. Now another video has been released in which the price for these murdered babies is being negotiated. Watch it for yourself—

During the 2014 elections, Planned Parenthood and its PACs donated almost $700,000 to politicians that are supportive of their appalling practices. Check out the list of candidates who received bloody money here. We can put a stop to these barbaric practices at Planned Parenthood by voting for pro-life candidates that will pull the plug on the nearly $500 million of our tax money which subsidizes this abortion giant.

Here’s another way to get Planned Parenthood to stop: Stop buying from the companies that donate to Planned Parenthood. The list of the top 40 companies that donate to Planned Parenthood is here.  **IMPORTANT UPDATE** many of these companies, it turns out, aren’t supporting PP. Check this out.

Appalling: Baby Body Parts For Sale

Live Action logoThis is gut-wrenching. This is debased. And this is totally indefensible. Planned Parenthood is not only contributing to the murdering of nearly 1 million babies every year, but now they are profiting further from their gruesome work by selling body parts from those aborted babies!

Kudos to Live Action for their vigilant work in pulling back the curtain to expose the shameful practices going on at Planned Parenthood. Take a look at the totally insensitive way this “doctor” (yes, that word is in quotes on purpose) discussing selling chopped up babies. After you watch this, see below on what you can do to put a stop to this brutality.

As if what Planned Parenthood is doing is not enough, you and I—United States taxpayers—are subsidizing these murders with government subsidies! Check out the latest efforts to defund Planned Parenthood, and then get in touch with your state and federal representatives and urge them to pull the plug on these atrocities.

John Stonestreet shares some scientific evidence for the value of traditional families.

“This very obvious fact—that each generation is taught by an earlier generation—must be kept very firmly in mind…. None can give to another what he does not possess himself. No generation can bequeath to its successor what it has not got. You may frame the syllabus as you please. But when you have planned and reported ad nauseam, if we are skeptical we shall teach only skepticism to our pupils, if fools only folly, if vulgar only vulgarity, if saints sanctity, if heroes heroism. Education is only the most fully conscious of the channels whereby each generation influences the next. It is not a closed system. Nothing which was not in the teachers can flow from them into the pupils. We shall all admit that a man who knows no Greek himself cannot teach Greek to his form; but it is equally certain that a man whose mind was formed in a period of cynicism and disillusion, cannot teach hope or fortitude. A society which is predominantly Christian will propagate Christianity through its schools: one which is not, will not. All the ministries of education in the world cannot alter this law. … [E]ven if we were permitted to force a Christian curriculum on the existing schools with the existing teachers we should only be making masters hypocrites and hardening thereby the pupil’s hearts.” ―C.S. Lewis

Did you know that only three nations in the world allow the atrocity of late-term abortions―the dismembering of innocent children? China, North Korea, and … the United States of America! Read more from the ACLJ and sign their petition to Congress to outlaw this brutal practice.

“This world is not so lovely as to tempt us away from Heaven. Here we are strangers and foreigners; here we have no abiding city; but we seek one to come. There is one wilderness, but we bless God there are not two. There is one Jordan to be crossed, but there is not another. There is one season when we must walk by faith and not by sight, and be fed with manna from Heaven; but blessed be God there is not another, for after that comes the Canaan—the rest which remaineth for the people of God.” —Charles Spurgeon

A Murderer’s Checklist

Murderer's checklistYou shall not murder (Exodus 20:13) sounds pretty straightforward. This verse is actually just one word in the Hebrew language: ratsach. The idea is a human killing another human in an animalistic way.

Think of a predatory animal like a lion. The lion attacks as an angry response when it is provoked. There is no thought about consequences or possible alternatives, but it simply lashes out in anger. A lion will also lie in wait to ambush its prey. Humans who kill in this animalistic way are regarded in the Bible as murderers (see Exodus 21:14; Numbers 35:20-21, and Deuteronomy 19:11, 13).

The legal definition of homicide today says it is “the killing of a human being by a sane person, with intent, malice aforethought (prior intention to kill the particular victim or anyone who gets in the way) and with no legal excuse or authority.”

God determines our day of conception (Psalm 139:16), the value and purpose of our life  while we are alive (Ephesians 2:10), and the day of our death (Job 14:5). Taking any of these things out of God’s hand, and putting them into our own hands, not only constitutes murder but dishonors God.

Some things are obviously homicide: Abortion is murder, suicide is murder, euthanasia is murder. Because these things put man in the place of God, they are unlawful.

But think of this: Slander is also murder. According to rabbinical scholars, publicly humiliating someone is murder, because it is character assassination. Jewish law also forbids the sharing of true but harmful information about someone else. Both of these things devalue a human being’s God-given value and purpose. Jesus echoed these teachings in Matthew 5:21-22 and Matthew 15:19.

J.I. Packer wrote, “We all have in us capacities for fury, fear, envy, greed, conceit, callousness, and hate that, given the right provocation, could make killers out of us all. … When the fathomless wells of rage and hatred in the normal human heart are tapped, the results are fearful.”

Here’s a quick checklist to make sure we aren’t getting close to becoming murderers:

  • Do I get too angry too quickly, and stay angry too long?
  • Do I harbor unforgiveness against anyone?
  • Have assassinated someone’s character?
  • Am I “lying in wait” for anyone to catch them doing wrong?

Some good reading from today…

“As much as half of the water in Earth’s oceans could be older than the Sun, a study has found.” This report is more evidence of the accuracy of the account of Creation in the Bible. Of course the water has been around longer than the sun: Genesis says that God created water in Day 2, but the sun wasn’t created until Day 4.

“I have little fear that any nation or combination of nations could bring down the United States and Canada by military action from without. But this I do fear—we sin and sin and do nothing about it. There is so little sense of the need of repentance—so little burden for the will of God to be wrought in our national life. I fear that the voice of blood will become so eloquent that God Almighty will have no choice but to speak the word that will bring us down. I do pray often: ‘Oh God, send a revival of repentance and the fear of God that will sweep through the continent that we may be spared and that we may honor Thee!’” —A.W. Tozer

“A poll of hundred college students about their Facebook habits revealed that those who posted numerous status updates each day actually experienced positive mood swings that a control group did not experience. Those who posted more frequently felt less lonely and more connected to friends. The reason? While sitting behind a computer screen may seem isolating, updating your status keeps friends on the brain when you can’t see them in person. Researchers actually call it ‘social snacking.’” Read more of Tim Elmore’s post How Facebook Affects Your Mental Health.

“The fetus, though enclosed in the womb of his mother, is already a human being, and it is a monstrous crime to rob it of life which it has not yet begun to enjoy. If it seems more horrible to kill a man in his own house then in a field, because a man’s house is his place of most secure refuge, it ought surely to be deemed more atrocious to destroy a fetus in the womb before it has come to light.” —John Calvin, commenting on Exodus 21:22-23
