Stretch (v.) stretch\ to draw out or extend oneself to the full length or extent. Its origin means “unbroken continuance of some activity.”
We have been observing a time of prayer this week; an unbroken continuance of this powerful activity. It’s always amazing to me just how much the Holy Spirit stretches me during these times.
But I want to be extended to my full potential so I’m grateful for this stretching. I wouldn’t trade these times for anything. But, wow, is it painful at times!
Can I get an “Amen”?
Or maybe just an “Oh, my”?

And God knows exactly how far we can be stretched without breaking.
Wow.

AMEN!!!!!
Church so I can be spirtually fed, work so I can eat and stay warm, trying to be my pastor’s righthand man, teaching on Wed. night, preaching on Thur. morning at Caretel, and starting to teach a leadership class on Mon. morning. Oh yeah, I’m taking classes to upgrade my credentials, Wife, Kids, Grandkids – S-T-R-E-T-C-H. And I would not change a thing. Well, maybe be I would, but God knows what it takes to make me reach my full potential because I also want to be extended to my full potential, And the Holy Spirit will give me comfort and strenth to reach it.
Blessings,
TJ

I like the dictionary perspective. And a good Home stretch for all!
